Walnut Cookies recipe

Looking for some ideas to bake for Chinese New Year?  Why not try Walnut Cookies?  An easy and simple recipe to follow.  Check it out after the jump:

Ingredients:
200g plain flour
3/4 tsp bicarb soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
140 ml oil
100g caster sugar
1/4 tsp salt
100g walnuts (roasted and chopped)

2 eggs (beaten and sieved to brush the cookies)

Method:
Mix all the dry ingredients thoroughly and lastly add in the oil. Roll up into tiny balls (10g each) and place them on a shallow tray, about 2 cm apart. Bake at 180C for 20 minutes. To test whether the cookies are ready, check the bottom of the cookies. It should be light brown color.
